Miui7 for infinix hot x507 (bugless)

Miui v 7 arrived for infinix hot x507 and its our responsibility to make it known...

Sincerely the infinix XUI sucks and everyone wants something new... So am I.. And a good pal of ours has solved the whole problem...

fredmwaurak from bbs.infinix mobility ported this rom for all to see... He had sleepless nights just to make sure its bug free... See forum here

As far as I'm concerned.. This is one of the best rom ported without bugs... In fact I'm using it currently...

You will need to install philz recovery in order to flash this rom... As we all know... Philz recovery is a two ways system...
(Philz recovery is coupled together with the rom) download the romb(links below) and extract the recovery..

1. You flash with a pc : you cannot install philz recovery if your device still runs on stock recovery.. You will have to flash this recovery with mtk droid tools or so flash tools...

2.. Install philz directly : philz is an updated version of cwm... So if you have cwm flashed.. You can flash philz directly with an apk named rashr Download rashr from here or Google search if you don't have access to play store..

Now let's flash our rom...

Download advanced mega downloaded from here

Install the app and now click on the rom rom download link below .. Now long press on skip ads to copy the address.. Paste the rom address in the mega app and your download will start automatically..

The rom is in rar format so you will have to extract it.. You have 3 files in it.. Place the rom in the root folder of your sdbcard (memory card) not internal memory..
Make sure philz recovery is installed...

Now reboot into recovery mode. Goto format options and click format for new rom installation..

It will take some time.. After that intall the rom... Congrats you now have miui..

Now before reboot... Clear cache and dalvic cache and everything will be okay...

TIPS AND GUIDELINES TO USING MIUI.

Before using MIUI, here are acouple of things you should know about it.

1.      Before installing any apps, first of all go to Settings > Additional settings >Privacy > Device administration > Unknown sources and select allow.

2.      MIUI already comes pre-rooted so no need to worry about rooting it. When you install an app that requires root access, find the app called    
         Security, open it and you will find Permissions, go in it and there will be three options

            a.   Autostart –This is where you will select apps you want to autostart with the device, likethe launcher and the theme etc

            b.   Permissions– You can see what apps have what permissions and revoke them if necessary.

            c.   Root access– This is where you will come to grant your apps root access. If you open anapp that requires root access, just come here and grant it

For those wishing to enable 3G on both SIMs ... you can download an extra app that will aid in doing that. Get it from here ... Dual SIM Control 5.0 Build 44. All you need to do now is from the app, select what SIMs you want to be on 3G.


NOTE: This is a ported ROM hence unofficial. If you ever get a notification for an update, don’t use the ota update. It will get you Redmi Note 3G’s ROM [which is the base ROM of this port] and that will brick your phone if you do.
